Batch is a learning app that helps kids practice money, computers, data, and other real-world skills through quick, playful card lessons. These terms are written in plain language on purpose — we're a small family team, not a law firm, but this is still a real agreement between you and us for using Batch.
Batch is free, family-built, and meant to be played kindly. Parents create and manage accounts and are responsible for how their kids use the app. Play fair in the tournament, be kind with usernames, and don't try to break things. If you have questions, just reach out.
Batch is built and run by a solo family developer, not a big company. We built it for our own kids first, and we keep improving it in our spare time. There's no dedicated support team — just us reading every message that comes in.
Batch is free to play. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or paywalls. We may add new features, courses, or seasonal events over time, but the core app stays free.
Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian, not by kids themselves. If you create an account, you're responsible for the profiles you add and for how your kids use the app under your account, including the username and avatar chosen for each kid's profile.
Seasonal tournaments (like the summer leaderboard) award points for real lesson play only. We may remove points, reset scores, or disqualify an account if we find fraudulent or exploited activity. Prizes, if any, are announced separately on the app or our site, are awarded at our discretion, and are not guaranteed until confirmed.
The lessons, diagrams, illustrations, code, and design in Batch belong to us. You're welcome to use the app for personal, non-commercial learning — but please don't copy, resell, or redistribute the content elsewhere without asking us first.
Batch is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it accurate and running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly suited to every use. Use it at your own discretion.
We may update these terms as Batch grows. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Batch after a change means you accept the updated terms.
